The 2014 NBA Draft is now just two weeks away.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

There has been a lot of speculation about the number one overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft for some time, but after the Cleveland Cavaliers won the right to make the first selection in the NBA’s Draft lottery, the rumors have ramped up. The Cavaliers would love to deal the pick for a veteran, a player the caliber of Minnesota Timberwolves’ power forward Kevin Love, but those rumors seem a little far-fetched and they will likely wind up simply making the pick.

The Cavaliers have had former Duke Blue Devils’ forward Jabari Parker atop their board for some time and have recently been talking a lot about former Kansas Jayhawks’ center Joel Embiid. Sean Deveney of Sporting News, who just released his latest mock draft, believes the Cavaliers will wind up with a bit of a compromise and select Embiid’s college teammate, forward Andrew Wiggins.

Although the Milwaukee Bucks have been flirting with the idea of selecting Australian point guard Dante Exum and either moving Brandon Knight to shooting guard or to another team (the Sacramento Kings are reportedly interested in acquiring Knight), Deveney does not believe they can pass on Embiid.

"Many options for the Bucks here. Parker would be a good fit next to center Larry Sanders, but Embiid has immense potential, and a Sanders-Embiid frontcourt would be a defensive nightmare. Beware Dante Exum, though."

Here is a look at how the top five shakes out:

1. Cleveland Cavaliers – Andrew Wiggins, F, Kansas
2. Milwaukee Bucks – Joel Embiid, C, Kansas
3. Philadelphia 76ers – Jabari Parker, F, Duke
4. Orlando Magic – Marcus Smart, PG, Oklahoma State
5. Utah Jazz – Dante Exum, PG, Australia

Having the Magic pass on Exum for Smart is perhaps the most interesting pick and Deveney is not the first pundit to make that projection.

The NBA Draft is Thursday, June 26.
