The NBA Draft is right around the corner but a lot of attention is being focused on Kevin Love and where he will end up getting traded when the time comes for the Wolves to pick a deal and accept it.

More from Boston Celtics

It has been rumored that teams like the Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls, Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors are now frontrunners to land Love but just about every team not located in Minnesota has at least a small chance of landing Love.

According to Chad Ford of ESPN.com in his latest mock draft, the Boston Celtics are getting very serious about acquiring Kevin Love and are now ‘dangling’ both of their first-round picks this year plus future picks as well as young players in an attempt to make a trade happen.

The Celtics were frontrunners for about a half a minute a week ago, but as soon as we started talking about what teams could offer for Love, Boston fell way back in the power rankings. Chicago, Golden State and even New York could offer more than Boston can but that has only caused the Celtics to raise their offer more and more.

What was once just the No. 6 overall pick and young players has become the Celtics next two drafts as well as young players they already have. Boston wants Love bad and their increased efforts with what they’re ‘dangling’ proves that they’re not to be counted out just yet.
