Two of the biggest teams in the NFL with two of the largest fan bases have decided to join forces as the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders have announced they will be holding joint practices in early August.

More from Dallas Cowboys

The two teams have reportedly been talking about the idea for quite some time and rumors began leaking that the joint practices could happen a few weeks ago. Of course, joint practices are nothing new to NFL franchises as most employ them at some point during their training camp, though, it’s  not often that you get two teams with such popularity together.

So where will the practices be taking place? In a familiar home to Cowboys fans as the two teams will hold their joint practices in Oxnard, California, giving fans from both sides the opportunity to see their favorite team in action (well, at least California Cowboys fans).

The two joint practices that have been announced will be held on August 12th and 13th though the two teams could put in more work together as those are just the public dates announced.

There was some speculation that the two sides wouldn’t find a middle ground on holding the practices as the announcement came a little late compared to other teams who are holding joint practices, but everything looks to be a go for now.
