Rivalries are what make the sport of college football so much fun. In today’s day and age, with how large the recruiting landscape has become, players get an early start to spreading the hate toward their future rival schools while they’re still competing at the high schools level.

Usually, though, it might just be some verbal jabs here and there. For 2015 Ohio State Buckeyes safety recruit Tyler Green, just taking some verbal shots at the Michigan Wolverines wasn’t nearly enough. No, he had to go right on the Ann Arbor campus and show just how committed he really is to Columbus, right there on their home turf–literally, the turf on their practice field.
Now that’s taking a rivalry to another level, and no doubt there’s a lot of Michigan fans out there that are a bit perturbed by the photo above; but hey, that’s all part of one of the greatest rivalries that the illustrious game of college football has to offer.
The photo was taken while Green was on a camp trip with some of his current teammates at the high school level.
Also, this act come stem from a bit of saltiness, as well.
While Green received an offer from a number of schools, Michigan was not one of them. They did show some interest in him, but not nearly as much as other institutions did, including the school he ultimately ended up pledging his allegiance to–THE Ohio State University.
