Knowshon Moreno will have knee surgery, miss four to five weeks

This offseason in the NFL saw a lot of seemingly solid names sit around in free agency longer than we’d expect them to and one of those names was former Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno. He had a breakout year with the Broncos but his stock in the offseason bottomed out — and we’re starting to figure out why.

The Miami Dolphins were the only team to reportedly show an interest in signing Moreno, despite the talent and skill he showed in 2014 but they may have purchased damaged goods in the process.

According to Adam Schefter, the Miami Dolphins will be losing Moreno for the next four to five weeks after he undergoes knee surgery to repair damage that has been holding him back and likely dropping his stock.

This doesn’t mean that Moreno is going to have a lost season with the Dolphins but his campaign is hardly off to what you’d define as a glowing start. His starting spot was already in question and this latest news that he’s going to need surgery this week further hinders his chances of blowing up for the Dolphins this year.

He may bounce back, but the chips are stacked against him already and that’s not the start Dolphins fans were hoping for.

Wow, this is BS. I would like to know if the Broncos knew about this and informed us of it before we signed his broken @$$. If not then I’m adding them to my list of slime ball organizations along with the Patriots, Jets and Raiders. I wouldn’t doubt that his spotlight loss in the Superbowl made him over indulge and blow up which intern caused this knee problem with him being all emotional like a girl. Screw you Knowshon. That’s what happens when you go from fit to a Pudgeasaurus Chex you fat turd.

I agree, if the Broncos and/or Moreno knew he was hobbled then we should not have dealt with him and to me that constitutes some kind of fraud. I believe the “Commfish” should look into this and our Fins need be compensated big time!
