Leading up to tonight’s NBA Draft, there were plenty of rumors and speculation that the Philadelphia 76ers were interested in moving up to the No. 1 position by executing a trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

Philadelphia is very high on Andrew Wiggins, but it appears that they have finally given up their pursuit of working their way to the top of the draft order.

According to NBA guru Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the 76ers are “no longer pursuing a trade” with the Cavaliers for the No. 1 pick.

The belief now is that the Cavaliers will be deciding between Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker when they are on the clock.

There is still a chance that something wild can happen and the draft order could completely shake up, but barring a last minute change the Cavaliers decision with the No. 1 pick will come down to the former Duke or Kansas star.
