Free agent guard Nick Young, a Southern California native, is hoping that he’ll be re-signed by the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason but in the meantime the free agent decided to spend a bit of his downtime at his own basketball camp.

More from Los Angeles Lakers

Nick Young not only met with the campers and hung out but he also laced up his sneakers at hit the hardwood.

As expected, there were a few highlights which included Young rejecting a young campers shot with emphatic authority and Young getting spotted up on from outside, though neither of those made major waves.

What did make waves was the man we all know as Swaggy P getting worked over by a camper who may have been lucky to be entering their pre-teens.

With Young on defense, the camper began dribbling atop the key and attempt to blow by Young’s right. It worked initially but the Los Angeles Lakers guard seemed to be in prime position to effectively swat the would-be shot from the youthful camper. At least, that was the thought until the camper pulled out his best Dream Shake, stopping on a dime as Young went flying by.

That left the camper with a wide open lay-in while Nick Young, looking slightly embarrassed, couldn’t help but laugh at himself as he walked back into camera view.

Normally, you’d likely suggest something like this was scripted but judging by his reaction, it seemed pretty real – even if Swaggy P played into the defensive lapse a bit more than he needed to.
