WWE Money In The Bank 2014 results: John Cena wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

It was finally time for the main event, the ladder match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were sitting next to the announcer’s table to watch the match. Sheamus came out to the ring first, followed by Bray Wyatt and Alberto Del Rio.

Cesaro was out of next, followed by John Cena, Randy Orton, then Roman Reigns coming through the crowd like he would with The Shield. Kane was the last one to the ring.

The bell rings and a brawl breaks out, everyone pairing off. It looks like Kane and Randy Orton are working together early on, while John Cena and Bray Wyatt fight one another. After clearing the ring, Orton and Kane went after Wyatt and Cena.

Cesaro and Del Rio were fighting over a ladder before taking out Orton.

Eventually Reigns and Sheamus set up a ladder over Kane and began to climb before Cesaro and Del Rio came back in and started climbing the two ladders as well. Kane got up and knocked everyone off and took care of Bray Wyatt and John Cena, choke slamming him in the process.

Orton was atop the ladder but knocked off and hit his head on the rope. A ladder hit him in the head as it fell over and he was being attended too, Orton was bleeding from the head.

Eventually Sheamus and Cesaro were fighting over the belts atop the ladder before Bray Wyatt took the ladder away. Sheamus fell immediately and Cesaro hung on for a while before falling.

Sheamus had a ladder gas a bridge between the Spanish announcer’s table and the ring. Orton reversed the move and hit a DDT on Sheamus with his feet on the ladder.

Orton got into the ring and set up a ladder and pretty much everyone was trying to climb over each other to get to the ring, Sheamus was still laying outside the ring though. Kane cleared the ring again and took the ladder set up below the titles down.

Sheamus tried to climb back into the ring and Kane went for a choke slam but Sheamus fought out of it. Sheamus got to the top rope and jumped onto Reigns, before taking out Del Rio and Orton.

Sheamus then delivered a Brogue Kick to Cena. Sheamus took Orton, who was sitting up in a corner, and threw him out of the ring and set up the ladder. As he began to climb, Kane grabbed his leg and pulled him out of the ring. Sheamus threw him into the steel steps.

Cesaro got on the edge of the ring and made a bridge between the ladder in the middle of the ring and the turnbuckle and got to the top of the ladder at the same time as Sheamus. Reigns, Cena and Dre Rio came in. Del Rio shoved the ladder through the other ladder to knock Reigns off. Reigns tipped the ladder over but it teetered in this weird angle with Cesaro and Sheamus still on top.

Cena put the ladder back in its natural position and it became another cluster on a ladder fighting for the title. Sheamus had the best shot but Orton and Kane pulled him off. Orton and Kane cleared the ring and Reigns came in and speared Kane. Orton hit Reigns with the ladder to take him out.

Orton did his snake thing to set up an RKO, but Reigns reversed it and pulled off a Superman punch.

Sheamus was on the top rope and Reigns hit a Superman punch on him. Reigns started running all over the place taking people out. Bray on the announcer’s table, a spear to Cesaro, running to the other side of the ring and getting Del Rio on the edge of the ring.

Then it was Reigns and Cena in the ring. They stared each other down and started trading shots. Cena went for an AA, but Reigns reversed into a Spear.

Reigns climbed the ladder alone, but Orton came in and grabbed Reigns ankle. Orton hit some kind of back breaker on Reigns with him falling off the ladder. now it was Orton climbing the ladder alone before Bray Wyatt came in and hit the “Sister Abigail” on Orton.

Wyatt was climbing the ladder until Del Rio pulled him off and delivered a couple kicks to his face, and Del Rio was headed up the ladder. Sheamus came in and tipped the ladder over, then hit Del Rio with a Brogue kick.

Now Sheamus was headed up the ladder, but Cesaro came in and grabbed Sheamus ankle and pulled him off into an upper cut. Then Cesaro hit Sheamus with “The Neutralizer.”

Orton was back in the ring and pulled Cesaro off into an RKO and was going up the ladder again. Reigns got into the ring and pulled Orton down. The two were fighting on the same side of the ladder.

Orton really had blood coming down his face now. Reigns headbutted Orton a couple of times until he hung limp on the side of the ring and eventually fell off.

Kane showed up and chokeslammed Reigns off the ladder. Kane then held the ladder and Orton began to climb again. Cena showed up and AA’d Kane and pulled Orton off and then hit him with the AA.

Cena was climbing the ladder and at the top and John Cena pulled the belts off the hook and won the match. It is Cena’s 15th world championship.
