On Sunday night, the WWE returned to pay-per-view for the always entertaining Money in the Bank event at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

During the ladder match for the vacant WWE heavyweight championship between John Cena, Kane, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Cesaro and Bray Wyatt, Orton took a big blow to the head from a ladder.
The shot to Orton’s head opened up a nasty gash and we later turned out that it was much more than simple theatrics.
After the event came to an end and Orton finished with a trip to the hospital, he shared a graphic photo on social media that showed off the staples in his head that were a result of the shot he took from the ladder.
For those counting at home, Orton got 12 staples in his dome.
