WWE: Was Dean Ambrose injured at Money in the Bank?

At WWE Money in the Bank on Sunday night. the traditional ladder match for the title contract was arguably the bout of the night. That success can be attributed to the work of the two former Shield members, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

As we know, it appeared that Ambrose was about o win the contract before Kane came out and dashed those hopes, letting Rollins get the win. At one point during the match, it appeared that Ambrose wouldn’t even be able to continue as he was selling a shoulder injury, left the match for a bit and then returned.

But, was Ambrose really injured?

Well, according to a report from WrestleZone, the injury was indeed not legitimate and was only used to build the drama even more for the finish of the match.

"There was a spot where Dean Ambrose took a major bump off a ladder, landing on his head and shoulders, but it doesn’t appear that the former Shield member was hurt too bad. The spot where he sold his shoulder coming out of place, and medics forcing him to the back was a work, as they teased Dean’s shoulder injury a few weeks ago on Smackdown. It was planned so that he could come back out at the end and get a reaction from the crowd, prior to the finish that saw Kane come out, attack Ambrose, and Seth Rollins winning the briefcase."

Still, top to bottom, Ambrose had one of the better performances of anyone on Sunday night, and the unbelievable selling of the shoulder was a big part of that.
