Lakers Rumors: Los Angeles interested in Chris Bosh
By Josh Hill
The NBA offseason is now in full swing and free agency has arrived with a flurry of activity in the first hours of the period being officially open. No one has signed yet but the NBA is busy with players traveling to meet with teams and vice-versa as the frenzy of free agency has begun.

One team that is usually a hot bed for free agent activity are the Los Angeles Lakers but this summer is seeing the team sink into the depths of the free agent abyss as no one is falling over themselves to join up with the team after their debacle of a season this past year.
As pointed out by ESPN.com’s Ramona Shelburne, the Lakers indeed have interest in Chris Bosh but will have to wait until the Big 3 make a decision on if they’ll return to the Miami Heat or not next season.
"ESPN the Magazine’s Chris Broussard reported the Lakers’ interest in Bosh, but it is believed that the Lakers’ ties to Bosh, much like their designs on winning over James, will have to lay dormant until Miami’s Big Three – along with Dwyane Wade – mutually decide what their fate will be with the Heat."
Bosh is likely not going to be the centerpiece of the Lakers free agent push but the bottom line is that he’s not a bad player to target if you’re trying to improve right now. Chances are though that either the Heat, Raptors, Bulls or Rockets end up offering him a much better deal and all of those teams are far closer to contending than the Lakers are next season.
