The Brooklyn Nets are looking at options they have to make sure their roster doesn’t crumble this offseason but they are running into issues a bit thanks to the Jason Kidd debacle they may see a few big name players lost this summer.

More from Chicago Bulls

Paul Pierce is the biggest name the Nets have who they could lose this offseason and it appears that he is already garnering interest across the NBA. According to Marc Stein from ESPN.com, the Chicago Bulls, Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets are all interested in signing Paul Pierce.

The Bulls would make sense if they miss on Carmelo Anthony but there might be a way that they get both players in the end. The interest from the Rockets, Mavs and others may drive up the price on Pierce an that’s not even taking into acocunt the weight the Clippers carry in the hunt for the veteran.

A return to the Nets isn’t out of the question, but there are plenty of options for Pierce on the open market and we shouldn’t expect him to rush into things as he’ll be taking his time to decide what is best for his future.
