NBA Free Agency is officially open and while the names of LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony will dominate conversation, there are other players who will be getting interest on the open market.

More from Indiana Pacers

The Miami Heat have lost not only the Big 3 but other pieces of their team as well including Rashard Lewis. According to Marc J. Spears from Yahoo! Sports, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers are among the teams interested in pursuing Rashard Lewis on the open market.

Lewis isn’t an elite free agent but he’s a guy who can help a contending team get a title. His failure to help the Heat this past season sort of hurts that image but with teams like the Pacers, Thunder and Spurs interested in him, his brand must not be all that damaged.

It’s hard to say where he’ll be the best fit as the Heat are still open to bringing him back as well but they may get preoccupied elsewhere and miss out on him.

Lewis’ stock may not be as high as other free agents but he’s a contending teams’ dream and that’s been reflected in the elite interest in him in such a short amount of time.
