Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, James Harden had private meeting

The Houston Rockets met with Carmelo Anthony on Wednesday in their big free agent sit down with him and things ended up taking six hours before Melo left to fly to Dallas in the afternoon. The six hour meeting between the Rockets and Melo featured a lot of different things but one of the more important moments of the afternoon took place when two of the Rockets stars took Melo aside and had a private meeting with him.

According to Yahoo! Sports insider Marc J. Spears, the Houston Rockets visit with Carmelo Anthony featured a 10 minute private meeting between Melo, Dwight Howard and James Harden in which just the three of them talked behind closed doors.
"Carmelo Anthony spent about 10 minutes talking privately to Houston Rockets All-Stars Dwight Howard and James Harden during the second stop of Anthony’s free-agency tour on Wednesday.The New York Knicks free-agent forward spent about six hours in a meeting with the Rockets that began late Wednesday morning, a source told Yahoo Sports."
This is encouraging for the Rockets as it proves that there might be a connection between the three players and the fact that they could go behind the scenes and talk is something fans should be happy about. We’ll see what it all means int he end but there was a serious effort put forth by Houston on Wednesday and they may have moved into the lead when it comes to who will land Melo in the end.
