As they have done every year for the past few years. the NFL Network takes a poll among current players in the league as to who are the top 100 players heading into the upcoming season. Also every year, as the countdown is released, there are some disagreements involved when a certain player is slotted somewhere that many think they shouldn’t be.

More from Green Bay Packers

Well, it seems as if the players have really outdone themselves this year and the fans are letting them know about it.

In this year’s countdown, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who missed a good majority of last season battling a collarbone injury was left right outside of the top 10, getting the no. 11 spot.

Of course, the countdown isn’t about what a player did or didn’t do last season, it’s about who’s the best heading into the upcoming year, and there’s little doubt in people’s minds that Rodgers is still among the best players in the league.

Those folks that believe that let the NFL know about it too.

What may have been even the best, though, was the fact that the NFL Around the League twitter account even disagreed with the placement of Rodgers.

What do you think? Is Rodgers’ placement on the list deserved? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
