The NBA offseason is in full swing and there have already been a few signings here and there that may have big impacts on future seasons. The Oklahoma City Thunder have been taking it easy for hte most part when it comes to signing free agents or even showing an active interest in specific ones, but the ones they do have interest in aren’t low-level types of guys.

More from NBA

There is talks that the Thunder may be interested in Pau Gasol and Kyle Lowry but they’ve already missed on one free agent they had interest in. According to Darnell Mayberry, the Thunder and guard C.J. Miles had mutual interest but he eventually signed with the Indiana Pacers after they offered more years.

Miles is a guy that may have fit right in with the Thunder as he seems like the type of second or third tier signing that can turn into one of the best ways money has been spent by a team when it comes to the postseason.

We will have to see how things turn out in Indiana but Miles was that close to ending up in Oklahoma City instead.
