Robert Griffin III is well on his way to being ready for the upcoming season. In this video, he shows us that he now can jump over a hurdle and throw a football.

More from NFL

So if some team randomly throws a hurdle out there to try and stop RG3, he will be ready for it. He will jump right over that hurdle and deliver the football.

RG3 is also ready in case a professional football-steeplechase league starts up somewhere. RG3, I dare say, would be the #1 overall draft pick in a football-steeplechase league. I can’t think of anyone else I would rather have in football-steeplechase.

What is next for RG3 in his rigorous offseason workout regimen? Throwing while leaping over a pit of molten tar? Delivering a pinpoint touch pass whilst navigating a minefield? Sticking a ball into a tight window while simultaneously fending off a pair of sword-wielding ninjas?

Okay I think we get the hint with this video. RG3 is 100% physically. He can hurdle and throw. Great. How does this reassure Redskins fans that RG3 will be able to hold up over the whole season? Are Redskins fans now supposed to be more confident in RG3’s ability to protect himself when he scrambles? Can Redskins fans now sleep easier knowing that RG3 is no longer brittle?

This video does nothing except show that RG3 would be great in an unorthodox skills competition. Well, okay then.
