The free agency tour for Carmelo Anthony is coming to a conclusion after he met with the Los Angeles Lakers. All that is left for Anthony is a meeting with the New York Knicks, and for the teams that met with him, it is about the over analysis about how their respective meetings went.

So how did Carmelo Anthony’s meeting with the Lakers go?

Of course every team feels good about their meeting after it happens.

No team is going to come out and be like, yeah we bombed that meeting. So-and-so wasn’t prepared, Bob couldn’t get the power point loaded. I totally told Tim to get fat-free cream cheese for the bagels but he got full fat.

You’d also expect Anthony to be engaged in every conversation, he isn’t sitting there listening to pitches like Simon Cowell assessing American Idol hopefuls singing. He has a list of things he probably is looking for and to learn and if it isn’t brought up he’ll ask as he tries to get a feel for the team and their direction.

He has a big decision to make after all.
