If there is one thing that people love to hate about Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel, it’s his attitude. More or less, he doesn’t seem to care about anything other than living his life, regardless of what anyone thinks.

More from NFL

Manziel’s attitude, in a sense, is like that of a professional wrestler. He’s larger than life, he’s polarizing…he’s basically a good heel in that he just has a knack for making people love to hate everything about him.

That’s why it’s more than fitting that someone took a highlight reel of Manziel from college and set it the theme of one of the biggest factions in professional wrestling history that got over with almost the same attitude Manziel has, D-Generation X.

Seriously, you could not find a better parallel than this.

Especially when the group first came to prominence in the late 90s with just Shawn Michaels and Triple H, the similarities between how they acted on screen for WWE and how Manziel acts are striking. They did and said whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted, regardless of what anyone thought.

With both Michaels and Triple H still around, some day we can only hope for one more D-X reunion, only this time, they need to use the celebrity fishing pole and reel in Manziel to have him don the green and black colors.
