Miami Heat Rumors: Pau Gasol will meet with the team
By Jack Crosby
The Miami Heat have been having a tough go so far in the free agency period. First, they lost out on one of their top targets, guard Kyle Lowry, who re-signed with the Toronto Raptors this week, and now they’re dealing with the reports that LeBron James may be exploring options elsewhere, seriously exploring.
However, there could be a light at the end of the tunnel as they are set to meet soon with another one of their top targets, Lakers’ forward Pau Gasol.
Gasol has been on the radar of a lot of teams recently, the Miami Heat being one of them. In this meeting, however, they had better make a good pitch, because it could be a determining factor in whether LeBron stays or goes.

As of right now, the Heat aren’t getting the talent on the roster that LeBron was looking for when he decided to opt out of his deal, but locking up one of the best forwards in the game at the moment could very well drastically change his mind.
The Lakers do want to make a run at bringing Gasol back, and it’s also been said that the Knicks are taking a look at not only bringing Carmelo Anthony back, but pairing him up with a newly acquired Gasol.
