Houston Rockets rumors: Chris Bosh to become focus if Carmelo Anthony passes
By Jack Crosby
Thursday in NBA Free Agency was not a good day for the Miami Heat, and that bad luck has apparently carried over into early Friday morning as now it looks as if the team may lose Chris Bosh to the Houston Rockets, if some dominoes fall in the right places.
According to a report from ESPN’s Marc Stein, should Carmelo Anthony end up passing on the Rockets’ offer, then they will immediately turn their attention to luring Bosh away from South Beach.
Earlier in the day on Thursday, it began to seem as if the plan of the Big Three in Miami is falling apart with the news that LeBron James’ agent had begun discussions with various teams throughout the league. Now, the panic has set in that the core of the Heat may fall apart, and Bosh may be a contributor to that downfall, should he decide to head to Houston.

Of course, as Stein stated, this all depends on whether or not Carmelo passes on his offer, which some reports have also stated is possible, given the fact that he may indeed not want to leave New York, despite everyone originally thinking that him leaving the Big Apple was all but a given.
Whatever the case may be, things aren’t looking in the favor of the Miami Heat at the moment.
