With there being utter uncertainty in Miami thanks to LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade failing to commit to the team, other teams are beginning to watch closer than they were before to see just what happens.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

It has been said that Carmelo Anthony controls the free agent market — which to an extend is true — but the cards seem to be held by Miami’s possibly soon-to-be former Big 3. LeBron James and Chris Bosh look to be max contract players which means that teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets are more than ready to clear up max salary slots to make runs at either player.

Houston reportedly has already agreed to a trade Jeremy Lin this summer if they can get a max contract commitment and that may end up being Chris Bosh. The Cavaliers are still gung-ho about signing LeBron James but neither situation is certain which is why there continues to be a Quentin Tarantino style Mexican Standoff where there’s a lot that could happen but nothing will until someone blinks.
