Although Kris Humphries has turned into a solid NBA player, he’s better known for his former marriage to reality television star Kim Kardashian. That of course didn’t go as planned so Humphries is likely hoping his free agency tour goes a bit better.

More from Boston Celtics

So far, so good as Kris Humphries is drawing interest from a handful of teams which include the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets.

The Heat are an obvious candidate given their desire to bring in as much talent as possible on the cheapest of contracts. The Boston Celtics also make sense as well considering Humphries has spent his last few seasons in Beantown.

As far as the Washington Wizards, they seem to be unlikely as a candidate assuming they re-sign Trevor Ariza as they’ll have a pretty hefty payroll. Of course, if Kris Humphries is willing to sign for a cheap deal that could change, though I’m sure he’d have many more interested teams if that was to be the case.

In terms of the Hornets, they have plenty of money to spend and are looking for a ‘name’ player, though I’m not sure Kris Humphries fits that role. He could be of service on their front line, so it doesn’t sound overly outlandish to consider the Hornets as a serious threat to pluck the power forward out of free agency.

For now though, it appears he’s simply collecting suitors before figuring out where he wants to play.

His market will likely be set as more talented players sign in the coming days.
