Miami Heat rumors: Chris Bosh still open to take less money to stay in Miami
By Jack Crosby
Of the Big Three for the Miami Heat, it seems as of late that Chris Bosh might be the one most likely to leave South Beach. With the recent reports that the Houston Rockets are prepared to make a huge run at him, should they miss out on Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James, there’s a chance that Bosh could step away from the original plan of the three opting out and taking less money together to build the team up.

Well, Bosh’s agent, Henry Thomas, says not so fast on that one.
According to Thomas, nothing has changed from the original thought process and there is still a good chance that Bosh stays in Miami after he takes less money under a new deal.
Of course the possibility is still on the table, and if LeBron and Dwyane Wade were to get new deals with the Heat before him, it would be awfully tempting to remain with his buddies and continue to chase more rings to add to the collection of two they already have together.
But it also should not be ignored that the Rockets seem very much prepared to not walk away from this free agency period with nothing.
If anything, it’s not Carmelo or LeBron that could be providing the most drama of this offseason–it could end up being Bosh’s decision.
