The shocking free agent tour of Kent Bazemore will continue in the coming days as after the swingman, after meeting with the Atlanta Hawks, is scheduled to meet with both the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs, this according to Alex Kennedy.

More from Boston Celtics

Bazemore didn’t get much run with the Golden State Warriors, however once acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers, the veteran put up impressive numbers while playing on an injury depleted roster.

The Lakers were said to have interest in bringing Kent Bazemore back, however they renounced their rights to him in effort to clear salary cap space to potentially sign either LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony. They likely didn’t figure that Bazemore would draw the type of interest he has considering a multitude of teams are said to be looking at signing him.

In addition to the Spurs and Celtics, Bazemore is also scheduled to meet with the Charlotte Hornets in the near future.

Kent Bazemore only averaged four and six minutes per game with the Warriors during his first season and a half in the NBA, but during his 23-game stint with the Warriors he was thrust into major playing time, putting up nearly 30 minutes per game.

Of course, we’ve seen plenty of players emerge onto the scene for a quarter of the season and put up All-Star level stats only to fall back down to earth after signing a free agent contract. It’s hard to know if Bazemore will fall victim to such though it sounds as if he’ll cash in regardless given the amount of teams who are intrigued with the swingman.
