The LeBron James sweepstakes seems to turned into a tug-of-war between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat. Both sides keen to sign the superstar to a deal and thrust themselves into NBA Title contention.
For LeBron it is deciding between his current home, a beautiful city that brought him the highest of NBA success, or his hometown. Apparently, James is receiving a lot of pressure from not only his wife, but his entire inner circle, to come back to Cleveland.
Chris Sheridan of Sheridan Hoops:
"a source who has been briefed on James’ free agency maneuverings told SheridanHoops that James’ inner circle, from his wife, Savannah to his agent, Rich Paul, to his best friends, Maverick Carter and Randy Mims, are unanimous in their belief that James’ best move is a return to the team he played for from 2003-2010."
But none of that has the Heat stressed one bit. They’re still confident and know James isn’t easily swayed and thinks for himself.
Within Heat, still confidence they'll keep LeBron James. They know difference between his agent's agenda, and James' strong mind of his own.

The Heat’s thought process seems to be one that many agree on.
Every player has influential people around him, but this much is clear about LeBron James' current lot in life: he makes his own choices.

Anyone who knows LeBron well knows his decision will be made by him alone, not by Rich Paul, Maverick Carter or Pat Riley...

LeBron is 30 years old, with a wife and kids, two rings and the status as the best player on the planet. Not some easily-swayed youngster.
