The Chicago Bulls were one of the first teams to truly gain any sort of traction when it came to Carmelo Anthony rumors but are they the first team to get a polite ‘no thanks’ from the All-Star forward? After a week of meeting with teams and a weekend to think about what he wants to do, there is still no word on Carmelo Anthony’s decision.

There has been plenty of rampant speculation though as a report surfaced on Tuesday stating that the Bulls were out of the running to land Melo this summer. Needless to say, Chicago Sun-Times reporter Joe Crowley jumped all over the rumors and denied all of them.
Report out there is Melo told the Bulls "no thanks'' this morning. Source just said "not true.'' Bulls are still alive, maybe not so well.
