The Cleveland Cavaliers are desperately trying to convince LeBron James two come back to Cleveland it they’re closer than they’ve ever been to making it happen. But things still need to fall into place to make the Cleveland roster more attractive than what Miami can put together in South Beach.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

According to Chris Mannix from SI.com, the Minnesota Timberwolves have given no indication that they’re in a rush to get a Kevin Love trade done just to help Cleveland land LeBron James.

In fact, Ken Berger from CBSSports.com reports that Kevin Love will really only agree to be traded to Cleveland if they get LeBron James first, which seems to reset everything back to square-one.

Trading Love really isn’t up to him but the Cavaliers might not do so without indication that he’d sign long term. It’s in the Cavs best interest to land Love and take their chances as at the end of the day they’d have a valuable trade chip at the deadline this year if they got Love without LeBron.
