It seems like everybody has an opinion about LeBron James these days. From fans to pundits, James has understandably been the hot topic in sports during the past few weeks but the continued coverage has likely started to irk some.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

That seemingly includes fellow NBA players – or at least one – as veteran Gerald Wallace decided to take a shot at LeBron James recently and the reason is a bit unknown.

Speaking to an Alabama news station, Wallace who most recently played for the Boston Celtics, called out James and suggested that he doesn’t have the same fight as Kobe Bryant or Michael Jordan.

“Jordan never had an off night,” Wallace told myfoxal.com at his basketball camp in Alabama. “He found many ways to contribute to the team, and I’d say Kobe is pretty much the same. You can put LeBron in that category. I think what separates LeBron from Kobe and Michael Jordan right now is that he doesn’t have the attitude or fight that those guys had.

“For me, he’s not willing to take over a game, demand a game or put the game all on his shoulders. I would like to see him get to that one day, but right now I don’t think he has that. That’s what Michael Jordan and even Kobe has.”

Wallace brings up a topic that has been discussed plenty of times regarding LeBron James’ ability (or perhaps lack of) to take over a game. It doesn’t seem like its an argument that will be ending in the near future as both sides can construct valid points as to why James does or does not have that killer instinct.
