The belief was that Wiggins could be included in a package to the Minnesota Timberwolves for star big man Kevin Love, but now that doesn’t seem to be the case.
According to Chris Broussard of ESPN, the Cavaliers have told Wiggins he will not be traded.
Of course, that will complicate the Cavaliers chances of landing Love in a trade, but they will have some other options.
One of those options is finding a third team to join the trade.
It Cleveland could find a way to acquire Love while hanging on to Wiggins, it would be an incredible haul.
With LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love and Andrew Wiggins, there is no reason to believe the Cleveland Cavaliers cannot return to the NBA Finals.
