The excitement of LeBron James’ return to the Cleveland Cavaliers seems to have infected the entire Cavaliers roster.
On Friday night, the Cavaliers took the court for a Summer League game against the Milwaukee Bucks and it didn’t take long for that enthusiasm to show itself on the court.
Former Cavaliers No. 1 pick Anthony Bennett, who was previously considered a bust, kicked things into high gear and was putting on a show.
Bennett looked good on the court, but it was one moment with three minutes left in the first quarter that really got everyone talking.
Bennett made a drive to the hoop and saw an opening in the lane.
As soon has he had no one in front of him, Bennett leaped into the air and threw down a monstrous jam that rattled the rim.
Here is the video evidence:
It is hard not to be impressed with that.
Hopefully that jam will be the start of more promising moments on the court for Bennett, as the Cavaliers look to go from the worst team in the league to favorites to win the NBA championship.
