LeBron James is heading back to the Cleveland Cavaliers which means a number of former fans will be digging their Cavs jerseys out of the bottom of their closets and preparing to suit back up to cheer on the team in the upcoming season.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

One of those people that will be returning to the Cavaliers bandwagon is Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson.

And he is damn proud of it.

After learning that LeBron was going to re-sign with the Cavaliers, Peterson took to Twitter to let the world know he is once again a Cavaliers fan.

Later Friday night, Peterson explained his reasoning for digging out the wine and gold and once again rooting on Cleveland.

Obviously Peterson did not need to explain anything, but it is still funny to see how excited everyone is about the LeBron James news — even star athletes.

In today’s day and age, thanks to fantasy sports, fans are more loyal to players than teams, so there is nothing wrong with a person like Adrian Peterson being happy that a player is returning home.
