Pau Gasol joining the Chicago Bulls seems to be a foregone conclusion at this point.

More from Chicago Bulls

The only question is whether the Bulls will just outright sign the veteran forward or if they will complete a sign-and-trade with the Los Angeles Lakers.

If a sign-and-trade is the route the Bulls go, then you have to wonder what Chicago will need to give up.

What we do know is just how much Gasol will be making with either scenario.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Gasol could make as much as $10 million per year if a sign-and-trade goes through.

If Chicago signs Gasol off of the open market as a free agent, then Gasol would earn just over half of that salary at around $6.5 million.

Since it appears that Gasol is headed to the Windy City, we will now just have to wait for the details.

Regardless of what exactly goes down, adding Gasol is an upgrade for Chicago in the front-court.
