On Saturday afternoon, news broke that Carmelo Anthony is set to return to the New York Knicks.

More from NBA Free Agency

When LeBron James committed to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, the Cavs watched their odds go from being a 60/1 longshot to the favorite to win the 2015 NBA Championship at 4/1.

The Miami Heat, meanwhile, fell to 100/1.

So what kind of impact would re-signing Carmelo Anthony have on the Knicks odds in the eyes of Vegas oddsmakers?

None.

The Knicks remain a longshot to hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

Sorry, Carmelo.

It is safe to say Carmelo would have had a bigger impact in the oddsmakers eyes if he would have gone to a team that many believe would be a title contender like the Chicago Bulls.
