In fact, the changes started way back in the middle of the season when the Kings made a blockbuster trade that landed them Rudy Gay from the Toronto Raptors. It was a season filled with growing pains though as Gay failed to made a huge difference and the team ended up with the No. 7 overall pick in the draft.
But none of that has seemed to waver Gay off his focus of making the Kings a good basketball team and he spoke about what could end up being a very long term relationship with Sacramento.

Gay then talked about one of the additions the Kings made this offseason and positively spoke about the future of the team.

That’s all good for the Kings as Sacramento needs to find stars to lead it’s team and Gay has the potential to be that leader. He took a while to adjust last year following his trade from the Toronto Raptors but he seems open to staying which is what Kings fans want to hear.
