Pau Gasol says he plans on winning an NBA Championship with Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls missed out on Carmelo Anthony this summer but they still managed to come away with quite a free agency haul with just two players.

After missing on Carmelo Anthony, the Bulls picked up former Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol as well as Real Madrid and former first round draft pick Nikola Mirotic. Bringing Mirotic over to the NBA — finally — is something that Bulls fans have been waiting on for years and can finally now relish in.

But Gasol may be the bigger signing and he knows just how important his years in Chicago will be. The new Bulls forward told the Spanish site Marca.com that he thinks he can win a title in Chicago otherwise he wouldn’t have signed there in the first place.

That’s good news for Bulls fans who have been skeptical of how well Gasol will work out. But Chicago amnestied Carlos Boozer which means with Taj Gibson coming off the bench as a Sixth Man, the Bulls will be rolling with a frontcourt of Nikola Mirotic, Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah — which is something opposing teams will not be looking forward to facing in 2014-15.

    good luck with that.
when you figure out how noah and gasol are going play together without getting in each other’s way let me know.
and, let’s see if rose comes back and stays back. I hope so, but the track record is not good

That’s the fun part, Noah will be inside and Gasol will be outside, opposing teams will have a tough time guarding as both are top passing big men, it will be fun to watch.

so gasol is going to play in the high post and Noah in the low? Good luck
what about on defense? Who is your rim protector and assuming its Noah what does gasol do?
        a disaster

We got the smartest coach in the NBA, I will let him worry about that, with 7/8 healthy players he won 48 games last year, he can bring the best out of these guys and I wouldn’t be surprised if we win 60+ games.

I like the coach. I don’t like this combo. too bad ur coach isn’t getting a say in personnel matters. youd still have deng too,
