The Dallas Mavericks made an offer to Chandler Parsons the Houston Rockets refused to match, moving him to north Texas. The Mavericks see Parsons as a dynamic young player who could be a superstar in the making, one they hope breaks out and helps superstar and face of the franchise Dirk Nowitzki compete for another NBA Championship in the final years of his career.

Parsons is eager to work alongside Nowitzki and soak in all the information he can.

Nowitzki was one of Parsons favorite players when he was younger, and a primary reason he considered Dallas. Now that they’re on the same team together. Parsons thinks that the two can run the pick and roll effectively.

“I think we’re going to be really good,” Parsons said, via the Dallas Morning News. “Me and him in the pick and roll and working off each other, I think it’s going to be tough to guard. We can be really efficient.”
