WWE Battleground results 2014: Rusev defeats Jack Swagger via count out (GIF)

Jack Swagger vs. Rusev
Out first is Rusev with Lana as he flies the Russian flag. Lana then gets on the mic and tells the fans to shut up. She says that the Americans and the propaganda machine should be scolded for our war crimes. We should be insulted and afraid. We should be ashamed of ourselves. They show the Putin picture and she says that Rusev will crush Swagger.

Swagger and Colter then come out with Swagger carrying the American flag. In the ring. Lana slaps Colter and Rusev and Swagger start going at it. Swagger tosses Rusev to the outside.
Rusev gets back in the ring and the bell rings. Swagger immediately goes for the ankle lock but he can’t get it locked in. Rusev hauls it back to the outside.
Back in the ring, Rusev starts to take it to Swagger with kicks and ramming him into the corner. He continues the onslaught with right hands.
Out of the corner, Swagger almost gets the ankle lock again but Rusev gets away once again. Swagger heads right to the outside to grab him. He gets him back into the ring, but Rusev turns the tables pretty quickly.
After some more kicks up against the ropes, Rusev locks in the claw on the shoulder of Swagger. He continues with some heavy punishment in the middle of the ring.
Eventually, Swagger gains some momentum back and starts bringing the heat to Rusev with a huge tackle and a boot. He hits the Swagger Bomb, but only gets a two count.
Swagger locks in the Patriot Lock, but Rusev is able to get to the ropes and then to the outside. Swagger heads outside and locks it in again. He’s able to launch Swagger into the post though, and Swagger gets count out.
Winner: Rusev via count out
After the match, Rusev tosses Swagger into the ring and locks in the clutch.
