I don’t know about you, but when I attend a professional sporting event I usually head to the entrance point which doesn’t use turnstiles. It’s not that I have anything against the steel machinery, okay, actually I do.

More from Cincinnati Reds

I’ve witness far too many friends and family members take the ultimate team sacrifice by getting harpooned by the metal rods that stick outwards, though thankfully none of them had a television camera on them during their moment of downfall.

This particular Cincinnati Reds fan can’t say the same however.

Wanting to support his team, the visiting fan was so eager to get through the Miller Park turnstiles that he got his shorts caught. In a bit of a panic, he attempted to wiggle out of dreadful situation but seemed to only make it worse, crunching his junk in the process.

To make matters worse, he then realized mid-smash that he had a television camera recording his every painful move, so once free he gave a bit of an awkward smile and rushed out of view. I’m guessing that was to pass out beyond view of the camera as I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what I would have done.

Even the Reds broadcast team felt for the fan as they collectively let out an ‘Ow!’ as he was turkey tapped in his man parts.

So what have we learned here? Avoid the turnstiles if you can. And if not, well, make sure you carry a first aid pack with you because you might end up needing it.
