The Los Angeles Lakers added Jeremy Lin this offseason and he has finally decided on what number he wil wear when he takes the court at the Staples Center.

With the Houston Rockets, Lin wore No. 7, however, he is going back to when he became a household name.

It seems so long ago, but when Jeremy Lin was a breakout star with the New York Knicks that sparked the “Linsanity” movement, he was suited up with a No. 17 on his chest.

That will once again be the number that Lin wears when he takes the court, according to an announcement from the Lakers on Thursday afternoon.

Here is a look at Lin’s new jersey which the Lakers unveiled on their official Twitter account:

If Linsanity is reborn in Los Angeles, we can expect to see it taken to new heights.
