The Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl with their defense but they couldn’t have gotten to where they were without the running of Marshawn Lynch, who fully embraced his nickname of Beast Mode during Seattle’s amazing Super Bowl run.

All things come to an end though, including contracts, and that’s something that Lynch is moving to avoid as he plans on holding out of Seahawks camp to try and get a better deal.

It’s not that surprising that Lynch is going to be a hold out as he wants to get paid like his Seahawks brethren are getting paid and also like fellow running back Jamaal Charles is getting paid.

But at the end of the day it comes down to how much money the Seahawks have to spend, and there have already been rumors that Seattle might have to move on from Lynch after this season to save cap space, which further proves why holding out now is the right move for Lynch as it puts pressure on Seattle to commit long term to him.
