Check out Derek Jeter’s priceless reaction to Ichiro’s first home run of the season. Jeter, not impressed. Really not impressed. Definitely not…hey man, nice home run!

More from MLB

Ichiro, a man not known for his power, smacked a three run shot off Mark Buehrle in the third to give the Yankees a 6-4 lead.

Jeter, another man not known for his power, now has just a one home run lead on Ichiro for the season. Ichiro cut his deficit in half with one swing of his bat.

The home run duel between those guys is getting hot and heavy. They have now combined for three on the season. Their three home runs have gone the same combined distance as half an average Giancarlo Stanton home run.

Hey, those guys aren’t going to the Hall for their power. They’re going for hitting singles. And occasional doubles. And stealing bases, in Ichiro’s case. And playing great defense…in Ichiro’s case.

And in Jeter’s case, being insanely clutch in the postseason. But neither of them is headed to Cooperstown because of power.
