Miami Heat All-Star Dwyane Wade won’t be playing with LeBron James anymore and it seems as if there might be a little salt flinging towards the newest member of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

More from Los Angeles Lakers

During a recent media session, Dwyane Wade asked about the upcoming season and who he most enjoys playing against. In an non-shocking fashion Wade went on to suggest that he’s going to enjoy playing against LeBron James more than any other player this season, though seemed to fire off a subtle shot towards his former teammate.

"“Well, it used to be Kobe Bryant… the second best all time…. now, I have a new favorite player to play against… my former teammate, LeBron James.”"

Now, Wade doesn’t go on to suggest who he thinks is the best player of all time, though, it seems a little odd that the Chicago-native wouldn’t put Michael Jordan atop that list. Even if MJ wasn’t his top player there are plenty who could fit the role, so it seems rather questionable to suggest that Dwyane Wade thinks LeBron James is the top player of all time.

Given all that, it seems that Wade might believe that Kobe Bryant is a greater player than LeBron James currently.

That really isn’t outlandish to think however as Bryant has accomplished more than James, though in fairness to the King, Bryant has had more years to do so.

So how say you, FanSided? Do you think Kobe Bryant is greater than LeBron James? And if so, do you think it will always remain that way or will LeBron James eventually surpass the Los Angeles Lakers icon?
