The Orioles’ Kevin Gausman has been hammering powdered donuts in between innings ever since he was a kid and pitched a no-hitter while in the throes of a donut-induced sugar high. The Blue Jays’ Marcus Stroman…he also likes donuts a whole lot.

More from Baltimore Orioles

Recently, helpless sugar-addicts Gausman and Stroman faced off in possibly the most historic donut eating contest ever captured by MLB Fan Cave cameras.

The contest rules were simple: First man to eat six powdered donuts wins. Each man was allowed a two-man support team and a glass of milk.

Despite his supreme confidence, Stroman would come out on the short end of this particular donut eating showdown. When the dust (or should I say donut powder) settled, the obsessive donut-lover Gausman came out on top.

Stroman had no choice but to give it up to his conquerer, saying, “I thought I had him. Eating all those donuts growing up, I guess helped him out in the end.”

When it comes to being able to eat donuts faster than another man without puking, there is no substitute for experience. And having the digestive system of a goat.
