The Cleveland Cavaliers got LeBron James back this summer and now that he has returned home, it has come time for him to pick a new jersey number.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

While not as exciting as LeBron’s free agency watch, the wait to hear what his new jersey number will be has had Cleveland stores on pin and needles as they prepare to order and stock the jerseys for all those who either want one or need a new one after burning their old one back in 2010.

LeBron made the announcement that he will be wearing the No. 23, jut like he did before, when he returns home this season to Cleveland.

There were rumors that LeBron was going to be wearing No. 32, which is the inverse of his iconic No. 23 and the number he last wore in high school but he has settled back on his original number he had with the Cavaliers during his initial run with the team.

It’s yet another symbol that LeBron is back home as though he never left and while his announcement is another happy moment for Cavs fans, those ones who burned their original No. 23 LeBron jerseys might want to re-think what they’ve done and start saving up for a new one.
