If there is any silver lining for Roma, they were able to come back from a 3-0 deficit to finish one goal shy of a draw. One of Roma’s two goals was an incredible strike from Roma’s Miralem Pjanic. He booted the ball from beyond the midfield line, spying United goalkeeper Ben Amos cheat off his line, well of his line.
Well if it looks like he scored that goal rather confidently and effortlessly, that is because he did. With the game being played in Denver, he was rehearsing the strike with the Denver Broncos ahead of the game.
Thought he was using an American football and kicking field goals, the skills clearly translate and he was working on his accuracy from distance.
