It’s been nearly two months since rumors broke of Kevin Love’s displeasure with the Minnesota Timberwolves and his desire to be traded away from the only organization he’s ever known. Of course, the T’Wolves aren’t exactly in a rush to trade away their star forward.

More from Chicago Bulls

Multiple teams have expressed interest in Kevin Love though it seems as if the Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers are the most likely suitors for his services.

Reports leaked over the past few days suggesting that Love only wanted to be traded to the Cavs, but that isn’t the case according to Basketball Insiders who says that the All-Star is open to being traded to any of the three previously mentioned teams.

"Sources close to Love have said they were urging people to dial back the “Cleveland or else” message and that while Love seems open to all three of the situations being seriously considered – Cleveland, Golden State and Chicago, he is not willing to commit long-term to any of them as a first action."

The alleged ‘plan’ would be for Kevin Love to then hit free agency and sign a new deal, allowing him to secure as much maximum money as possible.

Another team who has been tied to Kevin Love are the Boston Celtics, though there was no mention of Love’s desire to be traded to Beantown. Given his previous rumored interest in the Celtics though, it seems rather safe to assume that he’d be open to a Celtics trade as well.
