It has too be a thrilling moment to step onto a Summer League court and find out you’ll be playing alongside some NBA players. Of course if that NBA player is former Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks star Metta World Peace, there has to be a little bit more uneasiness.

When he was still just Ron Artest, he was famous for running into the stands to fight fans who threw a beer at him. His temper has caused players like Tyler Hansborough to think twice about tangling with him.
That is a lesson these guys in a Venice Summer League game didn’t learn. World Peace is fighting for a rebound when an opponent goes to the ground. It looked like World Peace might have given him a little shove that direction.
A teammate comes over to say something probably and World Peace – all 6’7″, 250-pounds of him – proceeds by shoving him back. The referee is seen standing there and doesn’t look interested in calling anything or risk catching the ire of World Peace himself.
