Cowboys’ Dez Bryant explains angry tweet about pay, top 5 wide receiver
By Mike Dyce
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Byrant sent out a tweet that caught some attention. It was a rather angry tweet saying he felt disrespected by being told he wasn’t a top-five wide receiver in the league.

That led some to assume that is what the Cowboys told Bryant as they work together on a contract extension. That the Cowboys said that he didn’t deserve to be paid like a top-five wide receiver because he isn’t one.
Local sports talk radio host Ben Rogers exchanged text messages with Dez about that Tweet. Rogers said Bryant’s Tweet wasn’t about ongoing negotiations with the Cowboys but about a specific article instead.
And now Cowboys fans can all breathe easy knowing that any rift between the two sides is over.
