It seems as if champion boxer Floyd Mayweather is doing what he can to break into the world of the NBA, well, at least from a friends standpoint.
A huge basketball fan, Floyd Mayweather was spotted at multiple games this season, epsecially those hosted by the Sacramento Kings given the boxer’s relationship with former Kings point guard Isaiah Thomas. Now with the pint-sized point guard a member of the Phoenix Suns, I’m guessing Mayweather will be enjoying more games in the Valley of the Sun but that likely isn’t the only place we’ll see the fighter this year.
Former NBA center Olden Polynice posted a picture on Twitter which included DeMar DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors and Dion Waiters of the Cleveland Cavaliers, suggesting that all the parties we’re working out together.
Boxing training regiments are no joke and I’d venture to guess that’s exactly what Money Mayweather put the NBA boys through. They’ll certainly have no shortage of stamina this season assuming they follow through on Mayweather’s training plan.
That’s not the only famous athlete that DeMar DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors worked out with this offseason however as the swingman has also worked with NBA legend Hakeem Olajuwon on more than one occasion. That’s not exactly new though as DeRozan has worked with him previously as have other NBA talents.

Still, pretty cool to see Waiters and DeRozan working out with the champion boxers.
Brandon Bass of the Boston Celtics was also involved in the Money Team/Floyd Mayweather workout.
